This course helps managers and supervisors understand their responsibilities for health and safety and how to put things into practice in accordance with your safety policy and health and safety legislation.
Following the IOSH syllabus, the course covers health and safety law, together with principles of accident prevention, occupational health and human factors as well as training on how to complete a risk assessment.
Upon successful completion of a written examination and practical assessment, delegates will be awarded an Institution of Occupational Safety and Health ‘Managing Safely’ training certificate.
What we do differently
We bring plenty of experience and scenarios to the training. We must cover the important Legal parts, but we make it very engaging and delegate friendly by bringing examples of how it’s all put into practice.
Who should attend?
The course is designed for people in supervisory or management positions in all types of organisations, who need a good understanding of health and safety at work.
